Flourish: A Time to Honor & Inspire Youth Ministers

The speaker for this event is Mark DeVries (M.Div, Princeton Theological Seminary). Mark has served as a youth pastor for nearly 40 years, 28 of those at First Presbyterian Church in Nashville, TN. Mark is founder and CEO of MINISTRY ARCHITECTS (2002), a consulting team that helps move churches strategically forward. He is a cofounder of Ministry Incubators, a team that helps innovative ministry ideas into reality.

Mark also the author of several books, including Family-Based Youth Ministry, Sustainable Youth Ministry, Sustainable Childrens Ministry,(co-authored with Annette Safstrom) and Sustainable Young Adult Ministry (co-authored with Scott Pontier). Mark and his wife, Susan, live in Nashville, Tennessee and have three grown children and four grandchildren
